Eco-Future Fest 2026
Eco-Future Fest is on Sunday 14 June from 11 am – 4 pm in the Town Hall and the Neeld Community & Arts Centre.
Our free, one-day community festival will celebrate our natural world and all things sustainable to create a positive, hopeful vision of a greener future.
Wildlife Photography
Wildlife photography exhibitions showcase our amazing local animals, birds and more from the Chippenham Photography club upstairs in the Town Hall and from our young persons’ Photography club in the Neeld Foyer.
Music performances on the Neeld Stage include:
- The Sayers,
- Get Reel,
- Allsorts choir
- Immersive soundscape recording on the theme of rivers in the Neeld Foyer.
Discover our series of talks in the Town Hall including topics on:
- Reducing Waste,
- Wildlife in Chippenham,
- Our River,
- Heat Pump advice panel from local residents.
Be creative in our crafting and making workshops including
- Making Paper Flowers in the Green/Syndicate Rooms (watch this space for more to come)
Explore stalls from a range of local environmental groups and organisations including
- The School Uniform Exchange,
- Scrap Store, Rooted,
- Zero Chippenham,
- Wiltshire Wildlife Trust
- Sustainable businesses like Refill for zero waste cleaning supplies
- Creations from local makers and artists.
Relax with a free drink in the Neeld Foyer and try the family activities and games to play on the tables.
Look out for the Bee Cart performers on the High Street who will be giving out free wildflower seeds and showcasing the amazing life of bees.

Earlier this month, we celebrated Community Civic Sunday with a reception and presentation at the Town Hall and Neeld Community & Arts Centre, alongside a service at St Andrew's Church.
Community Civic Sunday is an annual event that acknowledges the work and contribution made by the many local organisations, groups, and individuals who work selflessly to enhance the quality of town life in Chippenham. It is also the day that Community Civic Awards are presented to the winners.
This year’s award winners are Richard Meek, for over four decades of service to the Chippenham community; Michael Sammes, for his work transforming Baydon’s Meadow into the amenity it is today; Anisia Rusu, for her volunteering with the RISE Trust and positive impact on young people; and Hardenhuish School Parliament, for promoting democracy, participation and citizenship through fundraising, events and community activities.

Fancy giving tennis a go this summer?
Our free tennis sessions are a great opportunity to get active, have fun and enjoy some time on the court. Whether you are picking up a racket for the first time or looking to build your skills, these sessions are for you.
Running from late July to early September, the sessions are led by an LTA licensed coach and assistants, with fun activities and exercises suitable for a range of ages and abilities.
All equipment is provided, so simply bring along a water bottle and get ready to play! Families are welcome to take part together, with children under 13 required to be accompanied by an adult.
