Notices of Vacancy for Cepen Park & Hunters Moon Ward and Sheldon Ward
Two Notices of Vacancy in Office of Councillor have arisen in Chippenham Wards; one is for Cepen Park & Hunters Moon Ward, and the other is Sheldon Ward.
Both notices have now been advertised on Wiltshire Councils website HERE and displayed in our democratic noticeboard on the side of the Town Hall at Borough Parade. The advertisement will also be placed on the noticeboards within the Cepen Park & Hunters Moon Ward, and the Sheldon Ward.

If 10 or more requests are received by registered Chippenham voters then an election will take place no later than 3 February 2027. Alternatively, if 10 requests are not received then we must fill the vacancy by co-option.

Next Wednesday, 11 November, an Act of Remembrance with a 2-minute silence will take place outside the Town Hall for Armistice Day.
We invite the community to gather outside the Town Hall, no later than 10.50am.
In partnership with the local branch of the Royal British Legion and Chippenham Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club, we will be led by the Mayor of Chippenham.
On Sunday 8 November, we will come together to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.
