As part of Eco-Future Fest 2023, we were proud to host our first open exhibition – Art for the Environment.
There were two sections: the open competition, which had two categories, and the under 18s competition, split into three age ranges.
The open competition categories were ‘The Climate Crisis’, and ‘A Green Future in Chippenham’, with prizes of £250 each awarded to the winners, courtesy of RenewEv.
The judges were RenewEv consultant Alex Lockton, artist Celia Smith and Cate Watson, Climate and Biodiversity Officer from Chippenham Town Council.
In the open competition, the winners were Sue O’Sullivan for ‘Heat’ (The Climate Crisis) and Molly Rogers for ‘Flowers for the Future’ (A Green Future in Chippenham). These pieces are now on display at Chippenham Museum. Many other entries are on display in the foyer at the Town Hall, and in the corridor leading to the Neeld.
The winners of the under 18s competition were Lily-May, Thomas and Matilda.
Congratulations to all of the entries, especially to the winners. Enjoy your prizes!
