Walking Football

Recreational session of the beautiful game for ages 50+.
Mondays 7.30pm – 8.30pm.

Kick off the Weight

Recreational football sessions for all abilities, ages 18+.
Sundays 5pm – 6pm.

NHS Leg Club

Stanley Park Sports Ground host the NHS Leg Club on a Wednesday and Thursday 9am – 12.30pm. The Leg Club aim to provide lower limb management in a social environment, where members (patients) are treated collectively, and the emphasis is on social interaction, participation, empathy and peer support where positive health beliefs are promoted. These session are by appointment only, referred by the GP.

Recreational session take place at Chippenham Sports Dome, age 18+.
Mondays 6.30pm – 7.30pm.

Chippenham Rethink Mental Health

Stanley Park Sports Ground has partnered with a leading charity provider of Mental Health in England for more than 50 years. Wiltshire Mental Health Inclusion Service offer in person, one-to-one support tailored to the needs of the individual to help overcome Mental Health barriers to being involved and included in your local community. They will help support you if you are feeling isolated or lonely due to your mental health and create opportunities of growth for you. Chippenham Rethink Football has been set up for men who struggle with their own Mental Health. It’s common knowledge that men don’t talk so football is a gateway where they can talk openly and freely without judgement in a safe group. Sessions take place on a Monday 5.30pm – 6.30pm with a Mental health practitioner, on hand for any one-to-one sessions.

She Can Be Active Chippenham

Stanley Park Sports Ground continues to work in collaboration with both the local She Can Be Active Network and the Wiltshire and Swindon Sports Partnership who aim to support women in Chippenham to overcome barriers to being physically active, through creating a space where women feel safe to share their experiences of physical activity and be active together. The facility has partnered with She Can Be Active Chippenham to create the first adult Women’s only recreational football session in Wiltshire. Local women of varying abilities, attend a session on a Monday evening 6.30pm – 7.30pm, coached by a qualified female coach.
