Join us for this fused glass workshop to make either a 5cm x 20cm suncatcher, or a 10cm x 10cm panel which can be framed or hung in a window. You will be supplied with a pre-cut piece of glass of your choice, plus a selection of coloured glass to complete your project. Once completed your tutor will take your work away and fire it in a kiln, and you will be able to collect it from the museum on…

“Robin Tanner was a firm friend of my father, Paul Drury PRE, who was instrumental in helping Robin purchase his first printing press. Robin, though initially enrolled in the teacher trainers’ course at Goldsmiths, exhibited precocious etching talent which was spotted by Paul Drury and Graham Sutherland in the etching print studio after hours. This illustrated talk will recount Robin’s adoption by the Goldsmiths’ etching class of 1921, covering the revival of pastoral printmaking, and Paul and Robin’s deep family…
