Love Parks 2021

28th July 2021 / News archive

Chippenham Town Council is proud to be supporting Keep Britain Tidy’s Love Parks initiative.

We will be participating in Keep Britain Tidy’s Love Park week, which focuses on Love Parks, Respect Parks and Protect Parks.

We have worked with Keep Britain Tidy on this initiative in previous years and this year it is more important than ever to highlight our parks and green spaces as they have been a vital lifeline to the local community and residents throughout the COVID 19 pandemic.

This year’s focus is on “what do you love about your local park?” We ask you to find a poster, which will be supplied from the refreshment kiosk in John Coles Park and Customer Services at the Town Hall and fill it out with why you love your local park or open space, take a photo of your poster and tag us in it on social media. You can also download the poster HERE.

Throughout the week we will also be sharing on social media the work we do as a council to love, respect and protect our fantastic parks and green spaces.

We will be supporting and promoting Love Parks on social media by tagging @Keepbritiantidy and using the hashtags #LoveParks #RespectParks #ProtectParks, so please feel free to join in and help spread the message.
