LGA Peer Review

10th September 2019 / News archive

Today we welcome the Peer Review Panel for a pilot Peer Review which will take 2 days to complete. The panel will meet with senior management, councillors, staff and some of our strategic partners to analyse how we work, take a look at our budgets and polices and examine our infrastructure, communications and how we work with external partners.
At the end of the review, we will receive a report which offers honest feedback on how we are currently performing, what we could do better in the future and where the gaps are.
These pilot initiative has been developed by National Association of Local Councils ( NALC), Local Government Association (LGA) and Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC) to help showcase the strong ambition within our sector to rise to the challenge of Devolution.
