This role is required to work flexibly across a 7-day working pattern, including evenings, bank holidays, and weekends.
A wide range of professional and community events take place at the Neeld Community and Arts Centre and the Town Hall hosts a busy schedule of meetings and private hires, as well as being a focal point for civic life in Chippenham.
The Halls Assistant will support any activities planned in these venues to ensure we are presenting ourselves to best effect. This can include overseeing professional shows, liaising with hires and performers, laying out rooms and cleaning up after an event so the facilities are ready for the next user.
The nature of the work is varied and can be physical, so flexibility is key. If you are service driven with a proactive and positive approach, then we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for three people to join our award-winning Environmental Services Team, for a varied role in keeping our town clean, green, and safe.
Groundsperson duties include all types of grounds maintenance including mowing, hedge cutting, and watering, and Street Operative duties include all types of street cleansing and litter collection.
The roles, which will include weekend working on a rota basis, support our all-year-round maintenance programme. If you like physical work and do not mind being outdoors in all weathers, we would love to hear from you. A driving license is required.
