Stroll along this hidden gem and scan QR codes for a mixture of family-friendly fun and an introduction to the development of the street. To take part use a QR Code scanning app downloaded to a phone or tablet with access to mobile data. For a guide to the QR code locations, visit Chippenham Museum’s website.

Heritage Open Days is England’s largest annual festival of history and culture with sites across the country celebrating their heritage.

The trail has been created by Chippenham Museum, a Chippenham Town Council facility with free entry and level access throughout. Visits are currently by free timed ticket giving sole use of the museum for one hour Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm. Booking is available via the museum’s page on Chippenham Town Council’s website or by calling 01249 705020.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic please be mindful of others when enjoying the trail, maintain social distancing and if busy return when quieter. In the event of government guidance changing, the trail may be cancelled at short notice.
