Loose Threads: Bath Textile Artists // The Don Little Collection

A celebration of the heritage of Chippenham and the surrounding area, Loose Threads is a collaborative exhibition between Chippenham Museum and Bath Textile Artists.

The exhibition in Chippenham’s medieval Yelde Hall centres on the work of Bath Textile Artists responding to the museum’s Don Little Collection. Donald Little lived in Chippenham his entire life and bequeathed to Chippenham Museum his vast collection of postcards, photographs and ephemera relating to the town.

Enjoy artworks in a range of techniques including appliqué , silk painting and collage, with many works for sale.

This exhibition opened virtually in January 2021 while in lockdown, and the museum and artists are delighted to be able to open the exhibition in person.

Free entry, open Fridays and Saturdays from 13 – 28 August 10.30am – 3.30pm.
