Armed Forces Day, 25 June 2022

We celebrate Armed Forces Day each year as an integral event in our Civic calendar as we show support for the Armed Forces community including serving troops to Service families, veterans, and cadets.

Thank you to everyone who joined the Mayor of Chippenham, Councillor Liz Alstrom to mark Armed Forces Day at the steps of the Town Hall for a flag-raising ceremony with a 1-minute silence. We were joined by Royal British Legion, 9 Regiment RLC, Wiltshire Police, Chippenham Sea Cadets, and the wonderful Buglers.
