Democratic Services Manager
Chippenham Town Council has recently undergone an organisational review and the new post of Democratic Services Manager is one of three newly created job roles from 1 April 2019.
This position will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the work of the Democratic Services Team which includes all matters relating to the democratic processes of the council and providing support for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor in relation to the delivery of their civic duties.
The role will ensure that the Council’s approach to democratic services and civic matters reflects, and continuously adapts to support the strategic, operational and financial objectives of Chippenham Town Council.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organised and flexible with excellent management and inter-personal skills to work effectively with Councillors, staff, external organisations and the community.

We are recruiting a Finance Assistant to assist a busy team with a wide range of activities and projects, based in the High Street, Chippenham. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge and experience of finance packages and good customer service skills and also experience in a busy office. Ideally you will be well-motivated with the ability to work in a team. Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the job.
