I have represented Avon Ward since 1987. As a qualified internal auditor I have been particularly interested in value for money for the taxpayer and the way council business is managed, and have been Chair of the Best Value committee since it was formed. My interests include photography and transport. I represent the council on the local Wiltshire County Council parish transport group so am particularly keen to ensure that our bus and train services, including Chippenham's bus and railway stations, serve the requirements of local people. For some 15 years, I have been a member of the Chippenham Twinning Association which fosters twinning with La Fleche in France and Friedberg in Germany. I am currently its Treasurer."
