ALL GAMES WENT AHEAD THIS WEEKEND. PITCHES ARE LOOKING VERY WELL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR, AND THE RECENTLY LAID FERTILIZER WILL START KICKING IN SOON. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT THROUGH THE WINTER PERIOD. IF YOU KNOW YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER PLAN TO COME UP HERE TO PLAY PLEASE ASK THEM TO REPORT TO THE RECEPTION, THANK YOU
NOTICE - EASTER BANK HOLIDAY, MARCH 21ST & 24TH 2008 STANLEY PARK SPORTS GROUND WILL BE CLOSED FOR ALL GAMES AND TRAINING.
Children have been noticed kicking the surface out of the drain lines, please could you ask them not to do this, as it becomes a H&S risk to others who are using or are going to use the pitch/area, and as Coaches and Referees you have a H&S responsibility before and during your training/matches . It is disapointing to see the level of rubbish left on and at the side of the pitches, if this continues, and rubbish is not disposed of correctly or taken home then we will start fining clubs who are responsible, so please respect the park and all of its users. NEW BINS HAVE BEEN PLACED AROUND THE PARK SO PLEASE USE THEM!
MATCHES GOING AHEAD/CALLED OFF = Daily checks will be made, after work has been carried out on the pitches for that day. Final Decision will be made on Friday Lunch time with regards Saturdays booked games going ahead (advise). A decision will be made on Sundays booked games Saturday Lunchtime and wether they will go ahead (advise).
