Recycling initiative is working in Chippenham

In Summer 2017 Chippenham Town Council launched a new litter recycling initiative in Chippenham Town Centre. This saw the introduction of ten new bins which have been funded by Chippenham Area Board, Wiltshire Council and Chippenham BID. The new bins are dual purpose with a section each for general rubbish and recyclable waste.

As we continue to empty and maintain these bins, we can report that much more rubbish is now being recycled, much less waste is going to landfill sites with approximately one third now being recycled.
