This exhibition at Chippenham Museum explores crime and punishment from the Saxon period through to the present day. It marks 180 years of Wiltshire Police (the first and best!) and will include loans from their historic police collection including early uniforms, handcuffs and shackles.
A programme of free themed family activities and two guided walks are running alongside this exhibition, for more details contact Chippenham Museum or visit the What’s On section of the museum’s website.
Chippenham Museum is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm, including Bank Holidays. The museum, a Chippenham Town Council facility, is free to enjoy with two floors of galleries to explore.BACK TO ALL EVENTS
