Footman James 10th Classic Vehicle Restoration Show
07/11/2010
The great and good of the classic vehicle restoration world are
gearing up for the 10th anniversary of a major
restoration show, which takes place at the Royal Bath & West
Showground on 6-7 November.
The 10th Footman James Autumn Restoration Show & Auction
will feature up to 150 exhibitors with car clubs, restorers,
suppliers and auto jumble stalls together with an auction. Spread
over four indoor arenas, it will offer visitors a packed weekend of
live displays, expert advice, and all the motoring gadgets and
spares they could dream of.
Visitors can also buy or sell a classic vehicle at an on-site
auction, which is managed by leading classic vehicle auctioneer,
Charterhouse.
Themed club stands are a speciality of the show, and Somerset
Triumph Sports Six Club, winner of last year's 'Best Stand',
anticipates a very high level of entry this year.
A 10th anniversary may be associated with tin or
aluminium, but show organiser Nigel Stevens says the show will be
pure gold for those looking to for advice, gadgets and spares to
restore, or maintain, their vehicles over the Winter.
The 10th Footman James Autumn Restoration Show takes
place at the Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, over
6-7 November. Doors are open from 10.00 to 4.30pm on both days.
Tickets are available from £7. £8 on the day and car parking is
free.
So thank you for your continued interest in our classic events
calendar, don't forget to send us your photographs and any videos
of the show.
