Desna Allen
Desna Allen represents Chippenham Westcroft/Queens ward on both the Town and District Council for the Liberal Democrats. I am also involved with Chippenham and District Transport for the Disabled. Any leisure time is devoted to Philately, Reading and Quizzes.
Bill Douglas
Bill lives in Chippenham and has represented Park Ward on the Council for the Liberal democrats since 2002. He is a member of both the Planning Committee and the Strategy and Resources Committee
He takes a very active part in the Community and is sometimes nicknamed 'The Campaigning Councillor'. He led the very successful 'No Deaths on the A4 Campaign' which resulted in a 70% reduction in accidents on the London Road in the Pewsham and Derry Hill areas. At present, he is leading the fight for Road Calming Measures outside Hardenhuish and Sheldon Schools.
Bill also works with the Drugs Advisory Services to support Carers and Families in Wiltshire affected by Drug Abuse.
He previously worked as International Training Consultant to the Biscuit Industry, and has worked in Third World countries for the United Nations Assistance Programs.
He is a cheerful outgoing character ready to meet and help anyone in the community with local difficulties.
Sylvia Gibson
Councillor Mrs Sylvia Gibson serving the Allington ward on the town council. I am a Primary teacher working with autistic children 3 days a week, a governor and a magistrate. Mark Packard
My name is Mark Packard and I am a Liberal Democrat Town Councillor for Pewsham.
At the Town Council I am a Member of the Amenities Committee and am particularly interested in the development of Stanley Park Sports Ground. I am on the committee running the Community Hall in Pewsham.
Together with John and Sylvia Doubell I run a fortnightly collection of cardboard and plastic between 11.00 and 12.00am for those unable to go to the local amenity site.

I have been a Liberal Democrat councillor since 1987. I represent London Road Ward. Before retiring I was a Planning Inspector, which gave me a special interest in planning matters and I have served on the Planning and Environment Committee for 10 years. Another special interest is the Museum and Heritage Centre, and I am a member of its Management Committee. I have also been an active member of Chippenham Civic Society since 1984.

I have been a councillor since 1984 and during that time have served on most of the town council committees. The Personnel Committee with its overview of staff matters is a special interest, and I have led the Management Committee of the Museum and Heritage Centre from the time it opened in 2000.
I have been a Trustee of the Chippenham Borough Lands Charity for many years, and am also a member of Chippenham Civic Society. Another interest is supporting local drama and musical groups.
