Chippenham Information Point
The Chippenham Information Point, situated in the Town Hall, provides a vital service to the community. Receiving over 25,000 enquires annual the Town Council aims to ensure a satisfactory service outcome to each enquiry.
The Town Council strives to deal with the enquiry directly, or to ensure that a member of the public can speak to the person who can solve the problem, (whether a member of Town Council staff or of another authority) directly from the Information Point.
The Chippenham Information point provides help from those who need help, regardless of the subject, not necessarily Local Government issues.
The Town Hall and Information Point received the "Royal seal of approval" in 2001, when HM The Queen and H.R.H the Duke of Edinburgh visited Chippenham and signed the Visitors' Book. H.R.H the Princess Royal also signed the Visitors' Book during a visit to the TOwn Hall in 2002.
The information point is open:
Monday-Thursday: 9:30 am - 5:00pm
Friday:9:30am - 4:30pm
Saturday:9:30am - 12:30pm
